Our recommendation standard
Every product must suit the practical purpose and the North & Cozy point of view. We consider material and construction, versatility, size range, price and value, shipping and returns, and current availability.
How we label recommendations
Personally tested: We have used or worn the item ourselves.
Researched selection: We assessed the available product information, customer experience, retailer policies, and comparable options, but have not personally tested it.
Visual reference: We are sharing an item primarily to illustrate a styling or design idea. We will say so clearly.
Affiliate relationships
Some links may earn North & Cozy a commission at no additional cost to you. Many links will not. Affiliate availability never determines whether an item is included, and a higher commission does not make a product a better recommendation.
Product images and accuracy
When we feature a real product, we aim to use accurate imagery from the product source and link directly to that source. We do not use AI-generated stand-ins to imply that a pictured product is real.
Our promise
If a basic, lower-cost option does the job, we will say so. If paying more meaningfully improves fabric, construction, longevity, or fit, we will explain why. Context comes before links, and trust comes before a quick sale.
